To celebrate the launch of the Heinz Marry Me Pasta Sauce, Breeze is hosting an intimate Singles Cooking Masterclass in London to not only help singletons find a date, but also teach them how to cook for that date. Inspired by the viral Marry Me recipe, this sauce is so ridiculously good it might just do some of the heavy lifting for them, and maybe for you too.

Recipe

  1. 1Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and a pinch of chilli flakes. Sear in a hot pan with olive oil until golden on both sides, then set aside.
  2. 2In the same pan, add the Heinz Marry Me Pasta Sauce and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes, scraping up any flavour from the pan.
  3. 3Return the chicken to the pan and cook through in the sauce on a low heat for 8–10 minutes until tender.
  4. 4Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente, then strain, reserving a small amount of pasta water.
  5. 5Add the spaghetti to the pan and stir until evenly coated, using the reserved pasta water to adjust the consistency to your liking.
  6. 6Serve with fresh basil leaves, finely grated parmigiano reggiano, and freshly cracked black pepper.

No meat?

No problem. Skip the chicken and stir a generous spoonful of stracciatella di bufala or burrata directly into the pasta. Rich, creamy, and completely irresistible, exactly the kind of dish that gets someone on their knee.
